I am fickle. Every two or three years I have a new hobby. Now my hobby is making soap. I don’t use the soap that I make, it is just a craft for me. Making soap is provide me with coping skills. It helps me to relax and forget about every day stress and routine. Also, I make soap with my clients as therapeutic activity. When my clients make soap with me they present on what are they doing and that helps them to open their minds to talk with me about their feelings. Making soap helps me to start an open and confidential dialog. Well, let me explain to you guys how I make soap. For making soap I need a mold, soap supply, soap color and some scent if I want my soap to have a nice smell.
I cut a piece of soap from the big soap brick and put these piece of soap in a glass jar to melt them in microwave until they becomes liquid. Then I stirring in the color and scent. Then I pour the liquid soap in the mold. Then I have to wait until the soap is room temperature and can be removed from the mold. And WOW! We have a beautiful piece of soap. That soap can be a great present for everyone because I can use different shapes of molds with different design and size.

I order the soap supply on the internet, they delivered a 25 lb. box of soap. The molds I buy on ebay or order from Russia from a woman who makes unique silicone molds for making soap. But now I started a new level in my hobby. I decided to make molds myself. This is my first experiment and let’s see what will happen.
