Я максимально долго оттягивала момент написания данного поста, настолько не хотелось прощаться с проектом, но после опубликования первых итогов дальше тянуть уже не получится.
Перед погружением в Реалитариум моей главной проблемой, связанной с английским языком, являлась невозможность понимания речи собеседника, даже в случае использования им знакомых мне слов. Как я для себя впоследствии определила, в большей части это было вызвано напряжением и страхом. Участие в проекте научило меня расслабляться и это в той или иной мере раскупорило мой слух и мое восприятие чужой речи.
Поэтому в первую очередь я благодарю Ивана за включение меня в состав второго сезона Реалитариума. Иван, хочу, чтобы Вы знали, – мое восхищение Вашим небезразличным отношением к людям и моя благодарность за полученные лично мной результаты не имеет границ.
Не секрет, что я была одним из самых мотивированных участников, поскольку мне было необходимо вести различные дискуссии на околопрофессиональные темы, и если довести свою позицию я могла, то «переварить» ответ собеседника не получалось. Сейчас я общаюсь со своими зарубежными коллегами на вполне паритетных началах. Наверное, стоит отметить, что помимо соблюдения правил непосредственно самой Методики (в той степени, насколько я ее поняла и смогла реализовать), я также подключала в качестве дополнения чтение книг на английском языке, прослушивание новостных программ англоязычных телеканалов, ну и общение с «живыми» носителями.
Не могу сказать, насколько интересен был второй сезон для наблюдателей, но каждый из его участников старался внести свою лепту. Лично меня подпитывали впечатляющие результаты Константина – его прогресс во время первого сезона был виден с каждым последующим постом. Надежда и Алексей были для меня своеобразными маяками, к которым я стремилась. После опубликования наших первых результатов тестов, который выявил гигантскую разницу в уровнях знаний участников, элемент соперничества сам по себе пропал, но, по моему мнению, он должен быть, поэтому в следующих сезонах я предложила бы набрать участников с более-менее сходным уровнем знаний, чтобы была возможность конкурировать. В таких условиях предложение Надежды направить одинаковое задание всем участникам и сравнить полученные результаты более рационально.
Конечно же, впереди у меня еще очень много работы в освоении языка, поэтому я и пишу не итоги, а свой так называемый предпоследний абзац. Но лелею надежду, что когда-нибудь я оставлю запись на страничке «Моя история успеха».

Вот и я добралась до итогового тестирования.

Cambridge ESOL и ExamEnglish не показали изменений, несмотря на то, что я уже более уверенно выбирала те или иные ответы.

А вот Encarta меня порадовала – 66 %, в том числе грамматика — 80 %, аудирование — 50 %, чтение – 70 %.

Simone: Get a hold of yourself. You’re well prepared and you’ll do a great job. Okay, they’ve just announced your name. Get out there!

Gabriel: I can’t!

Simone: The entire audience is waiting for you. Pull yourself together and get out there!

Gabriel: Here goes nothing!

Помимо трудностей с восприятием, даже процесс начитки шел медленным темпом, поскольку я слышу ошибки, которые допускаю при произношении слов. Andy: They seem pretty spry to me.

Gloria: But what really surprises me is that group of middle-aged couples with their tween and teenage children. They’ll be a handful.

Andy: They seemed pretty well behaved to me.

Gloria: And did you notice that woman in her early-forties and the forty-ish man each traveling alone? She seemed nice, but he didn’t seem too friendly.

Andy: Maybe he’s using his time to size up everybody like you are.

Gloria: Well, I wish there were more young adults in this group. I like talking to young people.

Andy: I think there will be plenty of people for you to talk to these two weeks when you’re not sightseeing.

Gloria: Sightseeing? Oh yeah, sightseeing.

Being in permanent condition of arrivals and departures, I decided to write short essays about all, that situates in the my head relating to my travels. Firstly, I like airports.
One scene displaces another – seeing off, meetings, seeing off again – this is very showly picture of our reality. In airports you can see different displays of feelings, it is said, that airports and railway stations see much more really kisses, than a marriage registration service.
Airports are different: small and big, commodious and uncomfortable, beautiful and dirty. For me, all of them united in the one feeling – feeling of the future changes. This universal excitation of people’s mass transforms airport’s energy, it gives life and breath for an airport.
May be, because of this in movies an airport is shown as a place of emotion’s intensity – someone leaves forever, but other finds his or her love.
I wish luck for all travells and each new arrival of plane gives only good exchange and good hopes.

Паралелльно прорабатываю задания репетиторов — по теме "Чувства", очень много слов, которые я не знаю даже как читать, в связи с чем требования Ивана смотреть транскрипцию как нельзя кстати… 

Нашла подкаст, который хорошо передает мое нынешнее нервно-возбужденное состояние перманентных бизнес-встреч Ошибки неправильного восприятия, как обычно, выделила жирным курсивом.

So, my hot time is started. By last week the big part of international experts of The World Bank’s project were attended to Astana. My partner is the tax expert from Estonia. Sadly for my speaking practice he can speak Russian, but often he doesn’t have enough vocabulary, so he asks me to translate some of the words and, lo and behold! I understand him and can translate.
As see practice, in total I understand talking of representatives of Baltic countries, because I easily speaking with experts from Latvia and Lithuania. I see two reasons for this fact: 1) they really talk more slowly that others; 2) I know they can speak Russian, so I speak without straining.
Today I have meeting with the English expert and in this situation I have hard work, so I used the translator’s help. Nevertheless my understanding was more level when we had talked about non-professional topics.
Although the great stress to the volume of work, I am happy – I can understand!

Although great stress to volume of work, I am happy – I can understand!
Despite the stress caused by the enormous amount of work, I feel happy— finally I can understand at least some parts of conversations!

Мне выпало «Жизнь прекрасна» и мне удалось найти свои старые черновые записи, которые я постаралась перевести.
Life is beautiful was directed by Roberto Benigni. He stared in main role with his actual wife Nicoletta Braschi.
In 1998 the film won The Grand Prize of Cannes Film Festival. Also Life is beautiful was nominated for 7 nominations of Oscar and won 3 Oscars: The Best Actor, The Best Music and The Best Foreign Language film.
The movie consists of 2 parts. The first half of the film is romantic comedy set in the years before World war II.
In the second half of the movie World War II has already begun. This part of Life is beautiful is full of dramatic and tragedy.
The film was based on biography of Rubino Roneo Salmoni, Italian Jew, who was prisoner Auschwitz and his book “I won Gitler”.
I think Life is beautiful is “must-have” DVD, because there is story about love, live and sacrifice, about eternal values which can never be forgotten.

2. America is very far from us, but it’s normal fact when our students are learning in foreign universities.

Luggage
1. Fundament of Mums luggage had consisted the books.
2. We didn’t see line about books in sister’s list of things, which she are planning to dive up with herself.

Send-off
1. Mother’s parents didn’t worried about her landing.
2. Our mother are ready to fly with her daughter for to see by herself eyes her daughter’s landing.

2. America is very far from us, but nevertheless, it is considered normal for our students to pursue their degrees in foreign universities.

1. The fundament of my mother’s luggage primarily consisted of books and textbooks.
2. We didn’t see any signs of books in my sister’s list of things, which she is planning to take with her.

Send-off
1. My grandfather and grandmother weren’t worried about my mother’s adaptation and assimilation in a new land.
2. Our mother is ready to fly with her daughter so far, in order just to see with her own eyes how her daughter will safely arrive to her destination and adjust to the new environment.
